We've been sending DataSets to Web Services from Android devices for a few years now with no problems. We recently starting sending a DataSet with a DataTable containing a "string" column that contains CR/LF (0x0d/0x0a) sequences and it appears the CR (0x0d) is not serialized with the other data in the column (only the 0x0a).
