I think, your implementation MUST linger with default socket lingerState for
Close().

Would it be possible for you to create a small test case for
Socket.Close(int) and `socket.LingerState = new LingerOption(true, 5)`? I'm
not entirely sure what the semantics should be, or how to properly test
them.
