Use the automatic updater. Within Visual Studio: 1. Click Tools > Options 2. In the left-hand tree, click Mono for Android 3. In the right-hand side, under the Mono for Android Extension header, select the [ ] Notify of updates of quality [Beta] drop-down. 4. Click the Check Now link. Within MonoDevelop/OS X: 1. Click MonoDevelop > Check for Updates 2. In the Update Channel drop-down, select Beta 3. Click the Switch Channel button.
