After much floundering, I have figured out what is happening and fixed it.
Dear god, I feel like a floundering newb. Here is what I ran into. I had set
my activity to implement LoaderManager.ILoaderCallbacks. Once I did that, I
told VS to implement the interface. This gave me methods like: public void
OnLoadFinished public void OnLoaderReset While VS never blew up, I found this
to not be accurate. I found that:public void
LoaderManager.ILoaderCallbacks.OnLoadFinishedpublic void
LoaderManager.ILoaderCallbacks.OnLoaderResetare what are actually needed.
Another issue that hung me for a little while is that OnLoadFinished takes a
Loader and a Java.Lang.Object to work properly. In the method, I actually had
to convert:(Android.database.ICurosr)data; Ping me, if you have questions or
think I am stupid (this is entirely possible). Wally From:

Subject: [mono-android] no content provider found for permission revoke

I'm trying to get this danged content provider example working. I've tracked
this in ddms. The first error I get is when the application is being loaded
via VS. the app doesn't even seem to run now. Any thoughts on this?
error message in ddms:
06-27 17:53:47.749: W/ActivityManager(891): No content provider found for
permission revoke: file:///data/local/tmp/ContentLoader.ContentLoader-Signed.apk

Googling for this doesn't help much. I'm getting this in the emulator and as I
try to run on a Motorola Xoom running 4.0.3.
