Hi, I have an application that needs to access a soap web service from an android device. The web service is hosted within the company network and the application does not need to access the internet to reach it. We have a wireless network in place and a windows CE application that the Mono application is supposed to replace can access this just fine.
When I add the Internet option in the Android Manifest my application does not start. If I don't add this option, the call fails. My question is there any way to get around this, I have been looking at WCF but I am not sure whether I will just run into the same problems Has any one else solved this situation and if so how? I would appreciate a direction to go with this.
