Hi! We were using minSdk = "7" (2.1) combined with installLocation="preferExternal". It's the http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/install-location.html recommended way to allow SD install for 2.2+.
Unfortunately M4A 4.0.3 is over protective in this case. We have the following error: *No resource identifier found for attribute 'installLocation' in package 'android'* We would like to keep the single APK for 2.1 & 2.2+.
