Steve, Yes, the application-side themes are supported. I have tested them on 2.x in an mfa app. I guess that they work on 3.x and 4.x, but haven't tried it. I am out of pocket on this right now. Ping me next week and I'll get you a proect I have that shows this in a short demo.

We've been running our M4A apps on various phone devices, and even an older Galaxy Tab without any problems - the standard buttons appear white (or very light) with black text. One of our clients sent us a new Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Android version 3.2) and the standard button background is very dark with black text that's difficult to read. Is there any application-wide theme mechanism we can use to change this default behavior. I tried adding "android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Translucent" to the manifest within the <application> tag; but, could not build the package without errors.
