Thanks Jonathan. I kinda figured this was the type of problem that was happening. Given that I haven't run into it now and I REALLY like the faster builds, my suggestion is to continue the current system. If it were an option to select one or the other in the "Mono for Android" VS settings that would be fine, but I understand just leaving it as is.
