Unfortunately, Jeff's blog doesn't include the full context of the
presentation where those demos were originally shown. You can view the

The MIX 2011 demos were very much a "What is actually possible?" exercise.
When showing the demo, we did try to make clear that it was merely proof of
concept work, and that we don't have plans to bring the entire Moonlight
platform to Android. While we do still have interest in productizing some
features of Moonlight into our Mono for Android product, we don't have any
immediate plans to do so.

We are currently focused on delivering a better native experience, which
seems to be in much greater demand from developers.
