OK I have taken this up again, and I am successfully communicating with the Google Map through a Content Provider and updating the points on the map dynamically. I will try to make a small example project so that you can see how I achieved this. It was actually not that difficult to make. Now I have to think about how to communicate from the Java code to the C# code in order to switch views when a point is pressed on the map. This will probably be through a Content Provider as well listening for some updates as I do on the Java side.
Stay tuned for an example later :) On Tue, Oct 18, 2011 at 11:54 PM, Tomasz Cielecki <tom...@ostebaronen.dk> wrote: > I've decided to postpone this a while and implement on iPhone first > and revisit it later. > > I will indeed share when I find out something. > > On Tue, Oct 18, 2011 at 7:49 PM, royeagle <r...@royeagle.com> wrote: >> Hi Tomasz, >> >> Did you get this working? >> I have the same requirements in my application. >> Please share. >> >> Roy >> >> -- >> View this message in context: >> http://mono-for-android.1047100.n5.nabble.com/Talking-to-a-Google-Maps-activity-tp4872012p4914688.html >> Sent from the Mono for Android mailing list archive at Nabble.com. >> _______________________________________________ >> Monodroid mailing list >> Monodroid@lists.ximian.com >> >> UNSUBSCRIBE INFORMATION: >> http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monodroid >> > > > > -- > Med Venlig Hilsen / With Best Regards > Tomasz Cielecki > http://ostebaronen.dk > -- Med Venlig Hilsen / With Best Regards Tomasz Cielecki http://ostebaronen.dk _______________________________________________ Monodroid mailing list Monodroid@lists.ximian.com UNSUBSCRIBE INFORMATION: http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monodroid
