I went through and verified that I didn't have any duplication between my manifest and any attributes for my application but I'm still seeing the same behavior. I even tried removing the application element from my manifest entirely, but I still receive the same exception. I'll probably go back to 1.9.1 for the time being, although I was looking forward to the Maps integration...
