Yes, Mr. Norton, you have captured my concern.  It is often difficult to
write in a way that the reader understands the writer's intent.  So, yes,
I'm looking for a way to confirm that the download I receive is the
officially authorized release from the authorized devs.  This kind of
verification is one of the steps I like to take to control against malware
infecting my machine.
