Our JDBC driver can currently only be built with Java 1.4 or 1.5. The
error you get is very weird, and not reproducable with Java 1.5 here.
If I have some time I'll try to run it with Java 1.6 to see if I find
the same problem.

Is it an option for you to run Java 1.5?
