Thanks Alan.
I'm in Milton Keynes, it's great to have some options to consider, particularly
if they come recommended.
Regards,
Trevor

Where are you based Trevor? I have found a guy local to me (in North Kent) who
does a touch-up paint service. I'll PM his details if you're around this area.

As a long time admirer, very recent owner (1992 4/4) and absolute novice, I'm
finding lots of extremely useful information on the Forum - thank you.
I wondered if anyone could advise where/if Connaught Green paint can be found?
The intention being to try to 'touch up' a couple of scratches.....

Regards,

Trevor

The strict answer is there is no such colour as British Racing Green as
although green was the British colour, racers just used any old green they had
to hand.
There have been colours since described as 'British Racing Green', but the most
well known of these, MGs effort in which many MGBs were painted, most
authorities think is too light. Stanley Mann, the Bentley seller and restorer
uses Bentley Brunswick Green of the late 50's as the colour. I got this
transferred to a brushing paint, suitable for my three wheeler (no twins were
ever sprayed in period) and it is essentially a green with some added black -
ie a darker shade.

Lorenz, according to the original build specification for my car (I was not the
first owner), the colour is 'Jaguar Racing Green'. It is similar to the Talbot
cars that were racing in the Le Mans Classic. My car is not looking at it's
best in the photo, it needs a good wash after many miles driving in France .
Best wishes, Gerry.

Gerald - Is your Morgan color British Racing Green? Mine is the same color and
I never knew.
