Hello, strangers, Net-Flickr-Backup has had a pretty significant bug since at least 2019, which means that it doesn't back up `my-cool-video.mp4` to that filename, but instead loses the file extension. This makes the backup somewhat less easy to use.
I supplied a fix about five years ago, but there has been no reply then or recently. There hasn't been a new release since December 2010, and this particular distribution was the author's most recent upload. I'll try to contact him at his resume address (??) but that might be my only lead atm. -- rjbs
