Hi Neil,

First off, thank you!

Now a thought on your point: previously the distribution didn’t include a file
recognised as a PDL::Graphics::ColorSpace module - a long-standing problem for
PDL modules generated from a .pd file, solved in about 2015 by kmx who made the
generated .pm files be included in the distro, partly to make them readable on
metacpan.org etc. The last release of the distro was in 2013 by Maggie, before
that facility existed – the distro only ever had a
PDL::Graphics::ColorSpace::RGBSpace module, but I guess the distro name itself
was also given to her as first-come. The PAUSE facility to transfer first-come
only did so for the modules found, and missed that “distro name itself” thing.

This problem came to light because until now, as you allude, there wasn’t a
P:G:CS module; but when I uploaded a new version, with the generated modules,
now there is. So ironically, the situation now resolved was not because I
didn’t include a P:G:CS module, but because Maggie didn’t, and I did ;-)

Best regards,
Ed

Thanks to Ed for forwarding me the email thread he had with Maggie.

I’ve just transferred first-come on PDL::Graphics::ColorSpace to ETJ.

If you included a PDL::Graphics::ColorSpace module in the distribution, this
problem wouldn’t happen.

Cheers,
Neil
