Given that he’s responded recently, to say that he doesn’t want to give co-maint, but hopes to do a release in a month or two, then we cannot do a "forced adoption". I understand your frustration, but everyone is a volunteer, and has to fit Perl work in around their other commitments, which for all of us can ebb and flow. I see that you’ve released your own fork. In the meantime, please be patient. In time he may realise that he’s not going to get to it, and will then be open to granting to co-maint. I’ve had that happen to me multiple times over the years. And I’ve been on the other side too: where I do really want to keep maintaining something, but eventually realise I have to let it go. Cheers, Neil
