Hi,

I’m emailing you on behalf of the PAUSE admins. We look after the PAUSE
service[1] which is used to upload Perl distributions onto CPAN[2].
One of the situations where we get involved is when someone wants to start
releasing new versions of a distribution/module, where they don’t currently
have permission, and where the current maintainer/release isn’t responsive or
can’t be contacted.

The DBD::DB2 module was originally released by the PAUSE user MHM (Mike Moran),
but then between April 2000 and October 2012 it was mainly released by used
IBMTORDB2. This account has the open...@us.ibm.com email attached to it.

We have been contacted by Rocket DB, who are telling us that under a deal with
IBM, they have been given the rights to this driver.

Can you confirm this please? If so, we can transfer permissions on DBD::DB2
from IBMTORDB2 to ROCKETDB.

If you are not the right person to give this permission, can you direct me to
someone who is, please?

Thanks,
Neil
