Hello PAUSE Admins,

I would like to adopt the Tkx module. I sent an email directly to Gisle Aas
last year and had opened a GitHub issue [1] to request maintainership (no
response to either), but have since found the blog post [2] instructing to
inquire through this address instead.

[2]
http://blogs.perl.org/users/neilb/2020/09/gisle-aass-cpan-distributions-are-available-for-adoption.html

Motivation for adopting: I have been familiarizing myself with Perl/Tk, Tcl/Tk,
and related wrappers such as Tcl::pTk (which I comaintain). I have only used
Tkx briefly, but it's helped with comparing results between wrappers. I have
encountered concerns that Tkx is dormant and has had some issues for a while,
such as test failures during installation. I would like to publish maintenance
releases of Tkx to address existing issues, and help users out with future
ones. Hopefully this can reassure others that Tkx is not completely "dead" or
broken, especially given its good compatibility with future Tcl/Tk versions,
and availability of modern tutorials for it like TkDocs.com. I would likely
designate my fork of Gisle's GitHub repository as the official repository and
bugtracker, unless Gisle can transfer ownership of the existing repository to
me.

Tkx has no dependents on CPAN, but I understand may likely have some greypan or
proprietary usage.

Thanks for your consideration,

Christopher A. Chavez
