Hi Stephen & Slaven,

I’m one of the PAUSE admins. I’m working on resolving situations where CPAN
distributions have split ownership, and where there is conflict between two
distributions.

The Tie::Watch module is one of these: LUSOL has first-come on Tie::Watch, but
it appears in two different distributions.

It looks like Tie::Watch was originally released in its own distribution,
Tie-Watch. At some point later it was added to the Tk distribution. Stephen
(LUSOL) did all but one of the releases of Tie-Watch, with the last release in
2010, done by Slaven. Tk has continued to have regular releases, which include
Tie::Watch.

Is the version in Tk considered the definite version now? If so, can we delete
the Tie-Watch distribution from CPAN, so there’s only one version on CPAN?

Or if you want Tie::Watch to remain in its own distribution, you could rename
the module in Tk to be Tk::Tie::Watch or similar.

I haven’t diff’d the two versions, as I figured one or both of you will know
what the right thing to do is?

Cheers,
Neil
