Hi Damion, I’m one of the PAUSE admins. I’m trying to resolve situations where CPAN distributions have split ownership, or where some modules have no ownership, or are in conflict with another distribution. Your Tk-DKW distribution is one of these.
Earlier releases of Tk-DKW contained module Tk::CheckBox, but you don’t have an indexing permission on that, because MIKRA released a distribution with module Tk::Checkbox. In the past PAUSE allowed module names to differ just by case, but now those are considered the same, from an indexing permissions perspective. Your latest release of Tk-DKW, 0.03, doesn’t contain the module, but because the old releases are in your author directory, Tk::CheckBox is still appearing in the CPAN Index, against the 0.02 release. This is the cause of the conflict. This can be resolved by deleting the old releases from your author directory. I can do this for you, if you’re ok with that? If I do it, you’ll get a confirmation email from PAUSE. Are you happy for me to do that please? Cheers, Neil
