Hi PLICEASE and JBERGER,

I’m wearing my PAUSE admin hat, and emailing you about the first-come indexing
permissions on packages in the Alien-Build distribution. I’m looking into
distributions which have more than one person holding first-come[1]

Most of the packages have a single permission: first-come for PLICEASE.

But there are two with first-come assigned to JBERGER, and co-maint to CHM,
ETJ, PLICEASE, and ZMUGHAL: Alien::Base and Alien::Base::PkgConfig.

Are we ok to transfer first-come to PLICEASE? He’d then have first-come on all
packages, which means he’d be able to give co-maint to someone for the whole
distribution, or transfer first-come.

Normally this sort of rationalisation is straightforward, but my brain has
Alien::* in the "can be weird shit going on" pigeon hole … But it could just be
that Alien::Base used to be a separate distribution, but it got absorbed into
Alien-Build.

And if I do transfer the first-come, should I drop co-maint on those two
packages for the other people?

Cheers,
Neil
