I never got CC-ed on the original mail (I'm long since unsubscribed to
modules@), but I dug around in PAUSE and think I finally figured out
where to transfer maintainership of the namespace.
Let me know if it worked?

Dear Isaac,
Thank you for your reply and the explanation on the background.
I got to know about your ownership of this namespace when I initially
submitted my distribution to cpan maintainers. Their automated checks
bumped into this and let me know it was owned by you.
I contacted the cpan maintainers who then contacted you to ask your
position on this (attached their mail sent on this topic).
I am copying them here too for simplicity of communication.
I think you need to go to your PAUSE account to transfer ownership of
that namespace to me, but not sure.
Thanks again for your support.
Kind regards,

Hi Jacques
The DBIx::Object was originally DB::Object. It was renamed in 2004
after someone trolled after module contributors in the DB::* namespace.
At the time, the idea was to mark the old namespace as deprecated.
As it's been 15 years, I see no reason to keep holding on to it, if
there's a good reason not to.
While I agree with your choice of module name, I honestly can't find
DB::Object at all in PAUSE these days, so not sure how I can free it
up for you. Can you send a link to where you found that the
namespace is still registered to me?
Best,
Issac

Hello Isaac,
I have created a comprehensive set of api to interact with
PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQLite using an object oriented interface, and
after searching decided to name the package DB::Object.
However, when attempting to upload on PAUSE, it seems this namespace
is already taken, although I could not find it, and that you have
permissions over it.
I could see you manage the DBIx::Object package.
Can you give me permission over the namespace DB::Object ?
Kind regards,
