Currently, the module DateTime::Format::Roman does not compile.
Its latest release dates back from 2004 and the module is mentioned
in Neil Bowers' list of CPAN adoption candidates:
http://neilb.org/adoption/

I would like to remedy this situation and release an up-to-date
version of this module. A new release is nearly ready on GitHub:
https://github.com/jforget/DateTime-Format-Roman

I have tried to contact the original author Eugene van der Pijll
https://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.datetime/2018/11/msg8212.html
but he did not reply. I have tried to contact Dave Rolsky who has
a co-mainainer status. He replied promptly:
https://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.datetime/2018/11/msg8213.html
but as a co-maintainer, he cannot grant me a commit bit on this
distribution.

According to Grokbase (*), Eugene van der Pijll has been inactive
since 2006:
https://grokbase.com/user/Pijll/9RMdA2xFTUUqcYLisuiiTX

(*) I know that Grokbase has not been updated since a long time,
but it still gives some indications.

So can you please allow me to upload a new release of DateTime::Format::Roman
to CPAN?

Thank you in advance,

Jean Forget
