Hi James, I’m one of the PAUSE admins. I’m working on resolving conflicts caused by PAUSE now considering package names case insensitively. This has left us with some situations where two or more people are owners of namespaces previously considered distinct, and now considered the same.
You have ownership of the Gettext namespace, and have module Gettext on CPAN, released in January 2000. This conflicts with the gettext module, last released in 2015 by PVANDRY. There are a number of options for resolving this, the most obvious ones being: 1. You could rename the module so it doesn’t conflict 2. There aren’t any downstream dependents, so you could remove it from CPAN How would you like to resolve this? PAUSE doesn’t let situations like this occur any more, so I’m tidying up the existing cases. Cheers, Neil
