Hi Aaron,
I’m emailing you wearing my PAUSE admin hat: I’m still working on resolving
conflicts caused by PAUSE now considering package names case insensitively.
This has left us with some situations where people are owners of namespaces
previously considered distinct, and now considered the same.
You had ownership of the “testclass” namespace, because your Class-Indexed
distribution (released in 2004), has an example class in examples/testclass.pm.
Until recently PAUSE indexed example modules in distributions, even though
they’re not installed. PAUSE no longer indexed example modules, as described in
this blog post:
http://neilb.org/2016/08/02/examples-not-indexed.html
Your ownership of “testclass” clashed with “TestClass”, which is owned by
MSTROUT.
Since examples are no longer indexed, you no longer need permissions for
example modules, so I have dropped your permissions on “testclass”, to resolve
this conflict.
Please shout if you have any more questions about this.
Cheers,
Neil
