More details as to why I requested this:

I uploaded 2 versions of 'asterisk-perl' ( listed below ) distribution to
Pause where both ended up with indexing errors because I don't have
permissions to 'Asterisk::Perl' namespace. I was advised to move forward
with a new distro name like 'Asterisk' since I have permission to this
module namespace in Pause but there is a small problem. Most if not all
libraries in other languages that interface with Asterisk have a similar
naming of packages like 'asterisk-java' or 'asterisk_php' and even the
original maintainer JAMESGOL of the 'asterisk-perl' distribution expressed
interest in keeping the same distribution name 'asterisk-perl'.

links to both uploads
https://metacpan.org/release/ITCHARLIE/asterisk-perl-1.04
https://metacpan.org/release/ITCHARLIE/Asterisk-Perl-1.05

Please let me know if what I am requesting is actually possible and
reasonable.

I am also ok with a simple reply of "no It is not possible to do what
your asking for" This way I can move on with naming the package 'Asterisk'.

Thanks again for your time and attention.
