Hi Gisle, I’m emailing you wearing my PAUSE admin hat: I’m working on resolving conflicts caused by PAUSE now considering package names case insensitively. This has left us with some situations where people are owners of namespaces previously considered distinct, and now considered the same.
You have ownership of the “Image::Exif" namespace, but don’t have a “Image::Exif" module on CPAN (any more) — maybe at some point in the past you had an Image::Exif module on CPAN? Your ownership of “Image::Exif” now conflicts with the “Image::EXIF" module, which is owned by CCPRO, and the latest release of which is indexed on CPAN, from the A/AR/ARC/Image-EXIF-2.01.tar.gz release. To resolve this conflict I’d like to drop your permissions on the “ Image::Exif" package. I don’t think this will cause any problems, but wanted to check you’re happy for me to do this? Cheers, Neil
