Hi Peter & Kenneth, I’m one of the PAUSE admins.
You two both have pod-to-RTF modules on CPAN with names that match /^pod::rtf$/i — KJALB has Pod::RTF in the PodSimplify distribution PVHP has Pod::Rtf in the Pod2WinHlp distribution Until recently PAUSE treated this as separate modules, but that caused problems on case-insensitive filesystems: you can’t have both of your modules installed on MacOS X, for example. Normally I would suggest that one of you renames the offending module, but there may be an easier solution. Looking at the CPAN Testers status for Pod2WinHlp, I notice that it hasn’t worked with any version of Perl for the last 13 years: http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Pod2WinHlp <http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=Pod2WinHlp> There is one “spurious pass”, but basically it fails on all perls on all operating systems. Peter, would you be open to just deleting this from CPAN? If so, I’m happy to delete the files and drop your permissions for you. If you want to keep it on CPAN that’s fine, but would you mind renaming Pod::Rtf, or giving me permission to? Cheers, Neil
