I am requesting the root namespace, Mesos, because this may also
serve as a root namespace for future Mesos frameworks. There are not
a lot of other appropriate namespaces either. Other possible
suggestions were AnyEvent::Mesos, and Apache::Mesos.
While Mesos uses AnyEvent for it's event loop, it is only very
loosely coupled with AnyEvent, and AnyEvent can(and may) be easily
switched out in the future.
While Mesos is an Apache foundation project, Apache::Mesos may be
incorrectly associated with the Apache http server. The root Apache
module in the module chapter list is referred to as "Interface to
the Apache server API", and other modules in the Apache::* namespace
are listed under the header "Apache PerlHandler modules", again a
reference to the http server.
