There's no approval necessary. It just takes a little bit for the
module to be indexed and show up on the search cites.

I note that you didn't include a version number in your tarball name,
which is pretty unusual and suggests you created the tarball manually.
In general, you should run "make dist" in your source directory to
construct a properly named tarball.
