The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Enterasys::NetSight DSLIP: adpOp description: Interface for the NetSight Device WebService userid: SKUNIX (Chris Handwerker) chapterid: 24 (Commercial_Software_Interfaces) communities: https://github.com/chandwer/Enterasys-NetSight
similar: rationale: REASON This module is intended for SNMP and network management scripters who use NetSight to manage their network. This module provides an easy interface for fetching SNMP credentials from a central location and using them to make new SNMP session objects with the SNMP module. It also provides a fetch SSH credential method which is not directly available through the API. NAMESPACE I would like to use Enterasys as a root level name space so that other perl modules that relate to Enterasys Network's software can be grouped together. However because it's an abstraction layer to SOAP::Lite I am also open to the idea of SOAP::Lite::Enterasys::NetSight This is my first perl module so I am not sure what is the best practice in this case and I am open to suggestions. enteredby: SKUNIX (Chris Handwerker) enteredon: Fri Aug 9 16:26:35 2013 UTC The resulting entry would be: Enterasys:: ::NetSight adpOp Interface for the NetSight Device WebService SKUNIX Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=49c00000_c8231bd4fbdf0b85&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=49c00000_c8231bd4fbdf0b85&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1 Peek at the current permissions: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?pause99_peek_perms_by=me&pause99_peek_perms_query=Enterasys%3A%3ANetSight
