Response to my proposal for allowing community members to propose ADOPTME as comaint [1] have petered out. I take silence as lack of further objection.
Since mst has volunteered to do the PAUSE clicking as requests come it, let's move forward with it -- specifically, we'll allow community members to request ADOPTME taking co-maint for non-responsive authors, following the same process and guidelines for existing co-maint takeovers. I'll work on some text explaining it and will send a pull request to Andreas to document this process on PAUSE.
