Hi, Val. Thank you for your interest in contributing. However, PAUSE accounts are generally intended only for those uploading code to CPAN or taking over maintenance of a module. Patches can be submitted via RT using a Bitcard account (http://www.bitcard.org/).
If and when you do plan to upload a module to CPAN, we'd be happy to reconsider your request in the future.
