in newer versions of firefox (4.0 beta series at least, maybe 3.5 and
3.6), even if the warning is disabled you can see the difference by
looking at the background color of the icon to the left of the address
bar.  mixed content stays gray, TLS with standard X.509 certificates
gets blue, and TLS with "EV" X.509 certificates gets green.  I'm not a
big fan of this arrangement, but there it is.
