This I have to disagree with. The version number in libwww-perl-5.65.tar.gz applies to HTTP::Cookies, not to HTTP::Cookies::Netscape. This is how that file looked like in 5.65: $ egrep 'package|VERSION' lib/HTTP/Cookies.pm package HTTP::Cookies; use vars qw($VERSION); $VERSION = sprintf("%d.%02d", q$Revision: 1.25 $ =~ /(\d+)\.(\d+)/); package HTTP::Cookies::Netscape; In libwww-perl-5.66 HTML::Cookies::Netscape got its own file with a version number of 1.00. Please advise. --Gisle
