The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       HTML::FromMail
  DSLIP:       ampOg
  description: Convert e-mail to HTML
  userid:      MARKOV (Mark Overmeer)
  chapterid:   15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI)

  rationale:

    In my on-going effort to provide some end-user applications to the
    Mail::Box library, I propose this new module. By the way: I am still
    waiting for approval on the Mail::Box::Procmail name-space...

    RATIONALE Many people implement web-mail applications. This
    distribution focuses solely on converting a message/folder/thread
    into html, which may be a part of such an application. AFAIK, there
    is no such independent implementation yet, and certainly none based
    on Mail::Box.

    IMPLEMENTATION The implementation of the module is financially
    supported by the NLnet Foundation. It will be based on the Mail::Box
    library, and use a template system to create the pages. Cascading
    Style Sheets will play an important role.

    NAME-SPACE The name-space follows the idea of the existing
    HTML::FromText and HTML::FromANSI. My plan is to create modules like
    HTML::FromMail::Message, HTML::FromMail::Folder, ... within one
    distribution.

The resulting entry would be:

HTML::
::FromMail ampOg Convert e-mail to HTML MARKOV
