The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Config::Generic DSLIP: bdphp description: Parsing of Apache-like Configfiles userid: NIKRATIO (Nikolaus Rath) chapterid: 12 (Opt_Arg_Param_Proc) communities: Maybe I'ill create a mailinglist. Currently I recommend using de.comp.lang.perl.misc (german only) or a private e-mail to the author (english and german)
similar: Config::General rationale: My module this quite similar to Config::General, that's why I have chosed a similar namespace. But I'm not fixed on this name in any way. I would adopt every better suggestion. The difference between Config::General (existing) and Config::Generic (my module) is: - CGeneric supports an advanced hybrid access using tied hashes and an object orientated interface - CGeneral forces you to switch to an access method during parse. - CGeneric supports retrieving the line number of a config option, CGeneral doesn't. - CGeneral supports variable interpolation in the config, CGeneric doesn't - GGeneral supports C-style multiline comments, CGeneric doesn't enteredby: NIKRATIO (Nikolaus Rath) enteredon: Tue Sep 2 18:09:39 2003 GMT The resulting entry would be: Config:: ::Generic bdphp Parsing of Apache-like Configfiles NIKRATIO Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=e5400000_12889f163af05433&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=e5400000_12889f163af05433&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
