The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Mail::Box::Procmail DSLIP: bdpOg description: Procmail with Mail::Box userid: MARKOV (Mark Overmeer) chapterid: 19 (Mail_and_Usenet_News) communities:
similar: Mail::Box User::Identity rationale: Mail::Box::Procmail is a set of scripts and some classes which create procmail-like facilities. I already many modules in the Mail::Box::* namespace, but this one would be released as separate distribution. The main difference with the usual procmail implementations is that you do not need to create a cryptic configuration file with its own syntax (and therefore limitations), but you simply extend your own program based on Mail::Box and User::Identity. Mail::Box::Procmail supports the concept of 'roles': people using different e-mail addresses, signatures, languages, and encryption keys but use only one MUA. The module also helps to archive the data in the correct folders, something that (for instance mutt) is only poorly capable of. An extended example (ready to use) will be enclosed in the distribution. enteredby: MARKOV (Mark Overmeer) enteredon: Wed Aug 13 13:15:57 2003 GMT The resulting entry would be: Mail::Box:: ::Procmail bdpOg Procmail with Mail::Box MARKOV Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=7e300000_383d0469be4c0a89&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=7e300000_383d0469be4c0a89&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
