The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: CGI::Alert DSLIP: Mdppp description: Report CGI script errors to maintainer userid: ESM (Eduardo Santiago Muņoz) chapterid: 15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI) communities:
similar: CGI::Debug rationale: 'CGI' - the module is applicable to CGI scripts under any server. I've only tested under Apache, though. '::Alert' - the module notifies a designated maintainer of problems in a CGI script. Since these errors may negatively affect the remote user experience, the word 'alert' points out the urgency of these notifications. ALthough the email notification provides information helpful for debugging, this module does not belong under CGI::Debug because CGI::Alert is intended for use in code that is mature (or believed to be so :-). enteredby: ESM (Eduardo Santiago Muņoz) enteredon: Thu Jul 31 14:53:54 2003 GMT The resulting entry would be: CGI:: ::Alert Mdppp Report CGI script errors to maintainer ESM Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=38300000_729bcab8f0925a99&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=38300000_729bcab8f0925a99&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
