The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Statistics::TTest::Sufficient DSLIP: bnpOp description: perform T-Test using Sufficient Statistics userid: YUNFANG (Yun-Fang Juan) chapterid: 6 (Data_Type_Utilities) communities: mailinglists, newsgroups
similar: Statistics::TTest rationale: Statistics::TTest::Sufficient is a subclass of TTest::Statistics, instead of actually passing the data points into the module, we use the SUFFICIENT statistics (sample mean, sample variance) and the sample size as the input the output is exactly the sample as Statistics::TTest. I think it's fair to use the word Sufficient to characterize this module. thanks, Yun-Fang enteredby: YUNFANG (Yun-Fang Juan) enteredon: Thu Jul 24 02:43:41 2003 GMT The resulting entry would be: Statistics::TTest:: ::Sufficient bnpOp perform T-Test using Sufficient Statistics YUNFANG Thanks for registering, -- The PAUSE PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=04300000_f18919a01e616362&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=04300000_f18919a01e616362&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
