The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: Net::ID DSLIP: bmpOg description: A Class 1 Client For The IDentity Protocol userid: SLICK (Matt Ficken) chapterid: 5 (Networking_Devices_IPC) communities: http://identity.sourceforge.net/
similar: rationale: The IDentity protocol is a new system being developed on sourceforge.net It aims to provide a 'single sign-on' service for all applications. Everything from web pages, to operating system login screens to eventually door locks. One of the project goals is to provide users control over their information to counter Microsoft's Passport system under which Microsoft controls everything. The proposed Net::ID module would be the perl implementation of this new protocol. This will allow perl software (web pages, scripts, etc...) to use the IDentity protocol. enteredby: SLICK (Matt Ficken) enteredon: Fri Mar 7 01:30:21 2003 GMT The resulting entry would be: Net:: ::ID bmpOg A Class 1 Client For The IDentity Protocol SLICK Thanks for registering, The Pause Team PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=38300000_0e69f6abe1ee7ca3&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=38300000_0e69f6abe1ee7ca3&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
