Hi! I wrote a module which tests/checks HTTP proxy servers. A tar.gz archive of it is attached to this message.
I'm not sure about the namespace. I chose HTTP::ProxyCheck because it only checks HTTP proxy servers. Another possible namespace would be Proxy::HTTP::Check or Proxy::Check::HTTP. This would allow other Perl developers to write new proxy check/test modules for other protocols than HTTP. The "Check" in the namespace could also be substituted with "Test". What do you think about the namespace for the HTTP proxy check/test module? Kind regards Thomas Weibel -- The very fact that it's possible to write messy programs in Perl is also what makes it possible to write programs that are cleaner in Perl than they could ever be in a language that attempts to enforce cleanliness. --Larry Wall
