On the registry form? That may be a good idea. People that do not understand the regex should not apply for a CPAN Id :-). In any case it's better to apply the check also when people submit the registry form, and refuse the submission in case the entry is invalid. Now people think they have applied for registry, and _we_ get the message that the Id is invalid... -- Johan
