I wouldn't think that the XML::Simple author gets the
entire XML::Simple space.  it hasn't worked that way
ffor other namespaces.

In this case however, how do we know that the XML::Simple author doesn't want to add a pureperl implementation, we have DBI for example.

And I sure wouldn't want someone to add in a optimizer:: module without coordinating with me. (or threads::shared::foo)
