General Description of Counterfeit Christianity Sunday
A speaker comes at the invitation of a local church to speak on counterfeit Christian religions, such as Mormonism, or Jehovah’s Witnesses, for the Sunday morning and evening services. The purpose is to educate the church about spiritual counterfeits and to equip church members to evangelize those involved in this spirituality. The presentation schedule usually includes one of our staff speaking in the morning service(s) with a message taken from 2 Cor. 11:3-4 titled “Identifying Counterfeit Christianity.” The evening service can involve a presentation on Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormonism. If possible, our staff can also speak to combined adult Sunday school classes on Sunday morning.
