The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       Apache::PSP
  DSLIP:       adpfp
  description: Perl Server Pages, mod_perl HTML embedding
  userid:      RADCLIFF (Chris Radcliff)
  chapterid:   15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI)
  communities:

  similar:
    Apache::ASP Embperl Apache::Registry

  rationale:

    This module is an open-source implementation of the Perl Server
    Pages definition created by VelociGen in 2000. I use PSP heavily for
    my own Web site, and it is central to the code samples in my book,
    "Perl for the Web" (New Riders 2001). This module is being posted to
    CPAN to make it more accessible to readers who wish to use the
    examples, as well as anyone who wishes to embed Perl in HTML pages.

    Apache::PSP uses the Template::PSP module to compile PSP pages into
    bytecode instead of using the standard approach of interpreting
    embedded pages on the fly. This removes much of the performance hit
    found in embedded Perl.

The resulting entry would be:

Apache::
::PSP adpfp Perl Server Pages, mod_perl HTML embedding RADCLIFF
