The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:
modid: WWW::Page::Author DSLIP: adpfp description: Find an email address on a web page userid: SPOON (Iain Truskett) chapterid: 15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI) communities: [EMAIL PROTECTED] similar: rationale: WWW::Page::Author - because it can be useful to extract contact information from a web page programmatically and it can be quite messy to do every time you need such information. You feed the module either HTML or a URL and it attempts to determine a contact address (be it metatags or an address in the body). Rather than the HTML::* hierarchy that appears to be mostly for the abstract parsing or generation of HTML, this and the other modules I'm suggesting for WWW::Page::* are more for the specific (and heuristic) extraction of information from pages on the web rather than HTML as such. enteredby: SPOON (Iain Truskett) enteredon: Tue Dec 18 04:39:22 2001 GMT The resulting entry would be: WWW::Page:: ::Author adpfp Find an email address on a web page SPOON Thanks for registering, The Pause Team PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=39200000_4523c4824cecb5f8&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=39200000_4523c4824cecb5f8&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
