The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       CGI::XMLApplication
  DSLIP:       bdpOp
  description: Framework for building reusable xml-web-apps
  userid:      PHISH (Christian Glahn)
  chapterid:   15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI)
  communities:
    #[EMAIL PROTECTED]

  similar:
    CGI CGI::Application Apache::AxKit

  rationale:

    This application offers eventbased application interface and build
    in XML::LibXML/ XML::LibXSLT handling. The concept is open, so it
    can easily adopted to other XML::* systems (and porbably even non
    XML).

    It is based on CGI.pm

    It has similar motivations as CGI::Application but no direct
    relation. and it follows a different programming pardigma (event
    based vs. imperative).

    The ralation with AxKit is because of the concept of diffenret
    level of content handling. Where AxKit affects a whole web server,
    CGI::XMLApplication can run as a simple CGI.
