The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       Pager::SkyTel
  DSLIP:       bdpOg
  description: Control SkyTel pager account.
  userid:      MPREWITT (Marc Prewitt)
  chapterid:   24 (Commercial_Software_Interfaces)
  communities:

  similar:
    None

  rationale:

    Pager::SkyTel is used to control a SkyTel account (set forward
    options, retriveve messages, etc...)

    I propose the creation of the Pager:: rootlevel namespace to be
    used for controlling pager devices and accounts similar to the way
    that Mail:: heirarchy contains interfaces to control external
    systems such as IMAP, ProcMail and POP3.

    Currently, there is a Net::Pager hierarchy for sending messages to
    pagers. However, I do not feel that the Pager::SkyTel interface
    belongs in that namespace in for the same reason that Mail::IMAP
    does not belong in the Net:: hierarchy--it is not a transport
    interface but rather a API to control an external system

The resulting entry would be:

Pager::
::SkyTel bdpOg Control SkyTel pager account. MPREWITT
